The Dos and Don'ts
Do LABEL all belongings!
Do pack all belongings into one large suitcase or bin.
Do stuff bedding & pillows in a laundry bag or bin for ease of transport
Don’t pack any electronics.
Don’t bring any extra items to carry
Don’t forget to give any medications to our on staff Nurse.
Tips From Our CAMP Experts
Large plastic bins work best for packing and fit nicely under our bunks. (14-inch height works well)
A suitcase will work as well, but it will get dirty. (If you're flying in and have to pack in a suitcase, you can buy a plastic bin from Walmart when you get here.)
Have a labeled toiletry bag or bin to make trips to the bathhouse organized and easy.
For our younger campers, it’s helpful to organize days by packing clothes in large Ziplock bags with the days written on them.
Our girls’ cabins are air-conditioned, so no fans are needed.
Don’t forget camp is in the woods, so clothes will likely get wet and dirty!
Bring a waterproof bag for wet clothes at the end of camp.
When labeling your camper’s belongings, please use full names. We ask that you do NOT use initials.
Theme nights will be announced soon! Be on the watch for the announcement so you can pack accordingly.
Packing Order
Pack clothes on the bottom, with your shoes and toiletry bag on top.
Put your towels, sleeping bag, blanket, sheets, and pillows in your laundry bag.
Your fan and an instrument are the only things that can be left loose, but make sure both are labeled.
Try to keep everything together in one or two containers.
Electronic Policy
All electronics (phones, iPods, and computers) brought to camp will be turned in and locked in the staff room at the start of each session and passed out at the end of the week.
Directors always have their phones for emergencies. If you need time to work on Summer online classes, we can arrange that.
Modesty Reminder!
The finger-tip rule for modest length.
Nothing is written on the backside.
Tight leggings must have a shirt that covers the bottom.
Skirts may be worn with shorts underneath.
No spaghetti straps or muscle shirts.
Tank tops must have straps at least 3 fingers in width and when a bra is not visible under the arm.
No racerback tank tops.
No questionable logo or wording.
DO NOT PACK!
Do not pack anything that could be considered dangerous, including knives, guns, and fireworks.
Do not pack flip-flops except for shower use. Only tennis shoes or sandals with a back heel strap are allowed outside showers.
Do not pack any drugs and medicine not prescribed by a doctor, including tobacco, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, Jules, vapes, alcohol, ibuprofen, Tylenol, etc. (All medicine will be checked upon arrival and distributed by the nurse.)
